Angad Daryani: Shark
Shark — low-cost RepRap-based 3D printer; later Praan air purifiers.
Daryani wanted a 3D printer, could not afford a US$2,000 MakerBot, and built his own from open-source RepRap plans, then sold it as the Shark at roughly ₹20,000–25,000, about a third of competing Indian models. He also ran SharKits, electronics kits for children, and spoke at TEDxGateway at 14. Both companies wound down when he left for Georgia Tech.
