Anshul Bhatt: PawPath
PawPath — IMU gait screening for dogs.
His own dog's arthritis was found too late. Bhatt reasoned that gait changes appear before pain is obvious, strapped four small motion sensors to a dog's legs and trained a neural network on recordings from more than 200 dogs across breeds to flag patterns consistent with arthritis, tendonitis and ligament injury. He won a Second Award in Animal Sciences at Regeneron ISEF 2025 and is continuing the work with veterinarians.
