Shubham Banerjee: Braigo
Braigo — Lego-based Braille printer.
Told to "look it up" when he asked how blind people read, Banerjee built a Braille embosser from a Lego Mindstorms kit for a middle-school science fair, cutting the cost of a Braille printer from about US$2,000 to about US$350. At 13 he founded Braigo Labs with backing from Intel Capital and was a guest at the White House Maker Faire.
