Vibrotactile fingertip device for Parkinson's tremor.

Sindhoora focused on elderly patients in rural India who cannot reach a neurologist. Her device delivers patterned vibrations to the fingertips to stimulate sensory-motor pathways and reduce tremor and "freezing of gait", and she has built screening tools, a spiral-drawing test and a voice test, using machine learning. She received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in December 2024 while in Class 11.
