Akshara Srinivas integrated hydrodynamic features associated with a hammerhead shark into a vertical-axis wind-turbine blade design. Biomimicry can reveal geometries refined by nature and translate them into hypotheses for improving engineered flow.

Innovation mindset: Observe how living forms manage water or air, isolate the geometry and test whether the principle transfers to a machine.
